Introduce
An exciting celebration of childhood innocence unfolds as pangut (a collaborative shamanic ritual) blends with samullori (a percussion quartet), traditional games, and nursery rhymes, creating a vibrant, harmonious play.

Information
“I miss that alley not just because I miss my younger self, but because it held the youth of everything I cherish.”
Now an adult, Su-gyeong reflects on her past, immersed in memories as she calls upon her childhood friends to join her in play. Guided by Eunji’s recollections, the audience is invited to become her playmates and share in the fun. These friends from the past, each with their unique personalities, laugh and cry together, connecting across generations through traditional games. The performance incorporates various skills, props, music, and actors to lead the play, weaving them together to create a journey through time.
The production revolves around beloved traditional children’s games like “hide-and-seek,” “the mugunghwa flower has bloomed,” “Johnny-on-the-pony (malttukbakgi),” skipping long elastic ropes, and “drop the handkerchief.” It seamlessly integrates the rhythm of samullori (a percussion quartet) and shows off playful movements and skills with a folk art hat adorned with feathers or ribbons (sangmo). -
