Introduction
An alarm sounds over the blue seas of Jeju! “Cheongbi and the Sseu-dam Squad” is a family music theater work that reinterprets the Jeju legend of the sea goddess “Yeongdeung Halmang” in a contemporary way. To uncover the secret behind the vanishing seafood, “Cheongbi,” a girl from Seoul, embarks on an adventure with her animal friends to find the guardian goddess. With lively music and a touching story, children gain courage and wisdom to protect the environment, while adults are reminded of Jeju’s enduring beauty.
