Jointly presented by the Gangbuk Cultural Foundation and NCM Klassik, this stage features the Mare Quartet in masterful, deeply nuanced interpretations of Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky’s landmark string quartets. The program includes Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 6 in F minor, Op. 80 in Part I and Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1 in D major, Op. 11 in Part II. The composers’ brilliance and musical depth are conveyed with sophistication through the quartet’s rich sonority and finely balanced ensemble.
