“Dance Dedicated to the Ancestors” by the Ahn Eun Me Company brings to the stage the humble gestures and rhythms of grandmothers the choreographer encountered while traveling across Korea. Beginning with Ahn’s solo and unfolding through the dancers’ performances interwoven with documentary footage, the work conveys the vitality and life force of elders who endured turbulent times, all expressed through the powerful synergy of movement and music.
