The Korean National Symphony Orchestra opens the 2024 Korea Stage Festa series. Park, the first Korean to win the Busoni Competition, achieved this feat with his rendition of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth, Park recorded an album dedicated solely to Rachmaninoff’s music. This concert promises to be a remarkable performance as Rachmaninoff’s music seems ingrained in Park’s artistic DNA.
The second part of the concert features Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the Pastoral Symphony.
