Introduce
They say that love knows no barriers. But is that really the case? In today’s world, the purity of love has dwindled, and encounters are often reduced to the products of conditions rather than emotional connections. This phenomenon affects people of all ages. For those who equate “love” with “physical intimacy,” ignoring the “conversation of the mind,” the shelf life of relationships continues to shorten. This leads to widespread feelings of depression stemming from unfulfilled emotional needs. This performance aims to revitalize the dry hearts of modern individuals who neglect to share their emotions and form meaningful connections. Through the story of a twilight couple bound by a fateful love that faces increasing bleakness and harshness, the audience is invited to reflect on the true meaning of “love.”

Information
Jeong Wu-seong is the owner of the Romantic Theater. He is a man who engages in a bittersweet, decade-long ritual of watching the film Love Story and reminiscing about his first love. Free from ambition or greed, this easygoing man finds pleasure in maintaining the theater and enjoying a peaceful old age.
His childhood friend, Jong-gu, the general manager of the theater, finds himself falling in love at every dance and singing class he attends at the Senior Welfare Center. Tae-pyeong, Wu-seong’s son, has quit his job to return to the theater, looking to cash in big once redevelopment is finalized. Meanwhile, he relies solely on his father for financial support. Although these two often annoy Wu-seong, they do not disrupt his serenity.
However, Mun-yeong’s arrival as a part-time worker at the Romantic Theater’s café stirs things up. Her reappearance after a 30-year absence begins to create ripples in Wu-seong’s otherwise calm life… -
